The Company was incorporated on 9 October 1980 and listed on SESDAQ (now replaced by Catalist) on 21 June 2001. The principal business activities of the Group then were general upgrading and building construction, with a focus on waterproofing works.
In March 2010, prominent Indonesian businesswoman Mdm Sukmawati Widjaja, the daughter of Mr. Eka Tjipta Widjaja, founder of the renowned Indonesia-based Sinar Mas Group, took the helm of Top Global Limited after purchasing a majority stake. Thereafter, the Group sold off its non-core childcare and construction businesses, to focus on real estate development and other real estate related investments in Asia. On 24 December 2012, the Company successfully transferred to the Mainboard of the SGX-ST.
On 16 October 2014, the Group completed the acquisition of 71.52% equity interest in Indonesia’s PT Suryamas Dutamakmur Tbk, which has a rich wealth of experience in developing real estate properties, sells land and houses and in operating a golf course, country club and hotel in Indonesia.
The Group will focus on the following businesses in the region:

golf course and hospitality.

Singapore
The Group has a niche focus on developing distinctive and high quality residential properties in Singapore’s choice districts. Among its projects are The Top Residence at Simon Place, E Maison at Braddell Road, R Maison at Sommerville Walk and The Quinn at Bartley Road.
Indonesia
The Group specialises in the development of cities and township, such as the Rancamaya Estate and the Harvest City Project, and the development of residential projects, such as the Royal Tajur Project and the Mahogany Residence Project. read more
Real Estate Investment
Singapore
The Group acquired Margaritaville 14% senior notes together with common shares in Bossier Casino Venture, Inc. for US$6 million in February 2012. The senior notes bear interest at a rate of 14% per annum with maturity date of 6 years. The investment will generate regular interest income for the Group and provide the Group with the opportunity to own approximately 5% interest in a resort casino development in the United States of America. read more

The Group derives rental income from its management of the area formerly known as the Singapore Tennis Centre, which is located along the East Coast beach. read more
Golf Course and Hospitality
Indonesia
The Group operates a golf course, country club and hotel in Indonesia. Its golf course and hospitality projects are Rancamaya Golf & Country Club Resort which comprises an award winning 18-hole golf course and conference venues and R Hotel Rancamaya, a four star hotel with 140 hotel rooms, 10 villa rooms and 10 meeting rooms (that can be transformed into a ballroom). read more
Other Businesses
Indonesia
The Group operates the Highscope School, its preschool-level school in the Rancamaya Estate and has been expanded to provide a higher level of elementary education in July 2014. The Group also derives its revenue from its Maintenance Services conducted by the estate management, in the Rancamaya Estate.
